An open iron or a set of iron sights or a set of night sights may be your best bet. The Trijicon contains tritium in an aluminum tube secured with silicone to prevent recoil. The Trijicon sight set also covers the tritium in the sapphire to improve the image of the sight for shooting in low light.

The front sight and rear sight have an external white dot and an internal tritium that glows as a green dot in low light. Protecting your tritium capsules with a silicone mount, these scopes can help you mount capsules at home without a scope or scope push tool. Use a plastic or polymer punch, a small hammer, let the bourbon soak for a few more minutes (I know why it bothers you), then tap your new salable wonder into place.

If you plan to co-op this with an RMR or pistol slide sight, Trijicon made this kit for that purpose and still look at the suppressor. This setup will be good self defense for any Comer or Coyote that is first.

I really like the design of the TruGlo TFX tritium and optical sights. The optical rods or pods are trapped so they don't go anywhere and are protected from almost anything. The rear sight is made from a round piece of steel rather than a large protruding blade, making it a non-jamming option. The forward sight is excellent, the optical capsule is well captured, and there is a tritium ring for night sights.
