Glock 17 Alien Gear Holster - The 17 is one of the few full-size rifles that is easily concealed, and the ShapeShift can easily be configured as a concealed carry Glock 17 – both inside and outside the waist, on the hip, or in the appendage position. The 17 is also widely used as a service pistol, and the ShapeShift can also be carried as an easy-to-conceal OWB holster and paddle holster. This Glock 17 holster is compatible with all generations of Glock, from the original Glock 17 to Gen 5.
First and foremost is the shell system. You get two half shells, one to the right and one to the left, that cover the slide and trigger. There are also two trigger guards, one for standard half-shell carry and another set up for belt-slide carry. The half shells and exhausts are joined by a patented friction lock rail system. Once put together, they won't come apart unless you mean to, especially once you engage the twist lock. From there, you determine the way in which you carry.

For a traditional Glock 17 IWB holster, attach a full shell and trigger guard shell to the larger butt, which is made of the same materials - neoprene butt, steel core and Alien Skin top - as our Cloak Tuck 3.0. Just like the 3.0, it can be adjusted for grip and ride height and is compatible with our IWB Cloak Dock holster.

If you prefer a Glock 17 attachment holster, attach the shells to the smaller support and install the larger belt clip.
There are also two possible configurations of the Glock 17 OWB holster. One – which uses the smallest props and belt slide clips – is fantastic for OWB concealed carry as a high riding belt slide, and the other is the healthiest pistol design to date.
Attach the two half-shells together, and then install the included paddle. This gives you a Glock 17 paddle case.
Retention is adjustable with ShapeShift. There are three passive retention bars included that install in the middle of the trigger guards for light, medium or heavy passive retention. You can also install and use the thumb release, finger lock, or both with the paddle holster configuration, for a Glock 17 holster that approaches Level III retention.
